Whilst my collection is primarily focussed on tins made in Japan, I thought it would be nice to group together some of the tins which feature Japanese subjects.  These tiny tins featured mythical creatures, childhood folklore legends, distinguished people and famous places.  Kabuki theatre, the legendary Skaura cherry blossoms and the rising sun, all make these tins distinctively Japanese and so much more than simply being 'made in Japan'.​
