CRANE Gramophone Needle Tin

This CRANE gramophone needle tin is from Japan.  The Japanese culture is interconnected with birds and animals which is possibly why so many of their needle tins featured them.   The crane is a symbol of hope and on this tin it flys in front of a rising sun which was symbolic of the Japanese Empire.

It measures 58 mm wide, 30 mm high and 9 mm deep.
