Square PARROT gramophone needle tin. The Parrot brand of needles ran for many years in Japan and there are many different versions of this famous tin. This is the only square one that we know of. The earlier version of the brand had a single parrot while the later had two. Inside the paper liner shows an image of the factory. It was made in Japan for the export market.
