PARROT gramophone needle tin. The Parrot brand of needles ran for many years in Japan and there are many different versions of this famous tin. This one is a large 500 size and dark blue in color (a similar red one also exists). This is only the 2nd one I have seen and has come out of my collection due to a recent upgrade. It is in good overall condition with only some very light spotting as can be seen in the photographs. It measures 65 mm wide, 42 mm high and 12 mm deep.
