One of the earliest versions of this popular Japanese needle tin.
PEACOCK Gramophone Needle Tin
The PEACOCK gramophone needle tins are some of the most recognizable from Japan. It was a brand that ran for many years and the tins have many slight variations. My guess is they ran from the 1920's to about the 1940's. This is one of the early versions. The colors are super bright and the brand is written on the back of the tin and inside the lid. The later versions did not have this. This is a super quality classic tin and you most likely wont find a better example.
See my collection gallery for other examples of Peacock tins. If there is something in particular you are wanting for your collection please let me know.
This tin measures 6 cm (w) 3 cm (h) 1 cm (d).
