The PEACOCK gramophone needle tins are some of the most recognisable from Japan. It was a brand that ran for many years and the tins have many slight variations. My guess is they ran from the 1920's to about the 1940's. This is one of the early versions with the brand written on the back of the tin and inside the lid. The later versions did not have this. The tin is in very good condition as you can see in the photographs.
