CAPTAIN gramophone needle tin **RARE**

This is one of the rarest Japanese gramophone needle tins I have had the pleasure of selling.  This CAPTAIN brand tin features a baseball pitcher in full flight.  I cant quite make out the name of the team on the shirt, if it was a real team name at all.  Baseball is the most popular sport in Japan and was introduced by American teacher, Horace Wilson, in 1873.

The condition of the tin, given its rarity, is very good, with just a few spots as can be seen in the photos.  It measures 58mm x 38mm x 10mm.  It has a paper liner and needles but I cannot guarantee they are original.
